Former Bassmaster Classic champ and Yamaha pro Mark Davis from Mount Ida, Arkansas slid up one spot today to take the lead with a total of 42 pounds 11 ounces at the Plano Championship Chase Bassmaster Elite Series event at LakeSt. Clair out of Detroit, Michigan after Day 2.
Brutal runs were part of Davis'program as they were for Mercury pro Aaron Martens of Leeds, Alabama, who moved up one spot to second with a two-day bag of 41 pounds, 7 ounces.

Martin’s four-day catch of 20 bass weighing 103-3 is the second-largest stringer ever weighed in FLW Tour competition.

Roland Martin, Tommy Martin, Scott Martin and at the FLW Tour event on Lake Chickamauga out of Dayton, Tennessee, Casey Martin from New Hope, Alabama. Martin was leading the event heading into Day 3 and added to his lead with a 23 pound 3 ounce limit bringing his 3-day total to 73 pounds 2 ounces.
