You can swap out nearly any kind or flavor of cookie for the graham cracker. Any variety of chocolate is a viable option, but with a little imagination it’s not hard to picture your favorite chocolate candy like a Rollo or A yummy S'morea peanut butter cup as a s’more filling.

Americans have fallen head over heels for pumpkin spice flavoring in everything. And camper are no exception. Here’s how to bring that delicious pumpkin pie flavor to your campfire s’mores.

Ingredients for making the Pumpkin Spice:

  1. 3 Tbsp. ground cinnamon2 tsp. ground ginger
  2. 2 tsp. ground nutmeg
  3. 1½ tsp. ground allspice
  4. 1½ tsp. ground cloves

Combine all ingredients well. A spice grinder works great for this. Then seal tightly in a small container.

Ingredients and Instructions for Making Pumpkin Spice S’mores:

  • Graham crackers
  • Marshmallows
  • Nutella
  • Pumpkin spice to taste (start at 1/8 tsp. to ½ cup Nutella)
  • Instructions for Pumpkin Spice S’mores:
  • Mix pumpkin spice into Nutella to taste.
  • Spread Nutella mix on graham crackers.
  • Toast marshmallow to preferred doneness.
  • Place marshmallow immediately on one Nutella spread graham cracker and add other graham cracker on top.
  • Squeeze together so inside of marshmallow flows out and begins to melt Nutella.

Open wide and eat!


Caramel Apple S'mores Recipe

If you love caramel apples (and who doesn’t?), you will love these s’mores. We’ll bet your mouth is watering already. By the way, this is an “open face” s’more.

Ingredients :

  1. 1 sweet/tart baking apple like a Granny Smith
  2. Graham Crackers
  3. Marshmallows
  4. Caramel sauce (like Smucker’s Caramel Sundae Syrup)

Instructions:

  • Core and slice apple into rounds about ¼-inch thick. Leave peel on.
  • Top each ½ graham cracker with a slice of apple.
  • Toast marshmallow over the campfire to preferred doneness.
  • Place toasted marshmallow on top of apple slice.
  • Drizzle caramel on the top of the marshmallow, apple, and graham cracker.

Make Salty Sweet Pretzel S'mores

3 Ingredients:

  1. Large size party pretzel knots (about 2 ½ inches across and 3/8-inch thick), fresh and - crispy, right out of the bag.
  2. Hershey's plain milk chocolate bar, break to fit the graham cracker squares
  3. Marshmallows

Instructions:

  • Toast marshmallow to desired doneness.
  • Place on one pretzel.
  • Place chocolate squares on top of warm marshmallow.
  • Place another pretzel on top of chocolate.
  • Squeeze together carefully.

  • Lay chocolate squares on each cookie.
  • Toast marshmallow to desired doneness.

Ingredients:

  1. Graham crackers
  2. Marshmallows
  3. Hershey's plain milk chocolate bar, break to fit the graham cracker squares
  4. Favorite flavor(s) of Starburst Candy

Instructions:

  • Lay out graham cracker halves.
  • Place chocolate squares on graham crackers.
  • Skewer two Starburst squares on roasting stick and warm over campfire until they just begin to melt. Place on chocolate squares.
  • Toast marshmallow over campfire to desired doneness.
