Some of the mightiest bucks in Bass Pro Shops King of Bucks collection can also be considered unsolved mysteries because nobody knows the story behind them. Viewers can help crack the case of these mystery monster bucks by watching King of Bucks television, which airs on The Outdoor Channel Saturday, Aug. 23 at 9:30 a.m. Eastern time.

One of the best “tastes great vs less filling” debates in the world of bowhunting is which factor is more critical to arrow effectiveness – speed or weight? King of Bucks experts attempt to settle that debate once and for all. Plus, RedHead Pro Hunting team member Bob Foulkrod has a few survival tricks up his sleeve using just a flashlight. Finally, Kelsey Konrade shares how her family’s successful outfitting business uses game cameras to keep track of those behemoth bucks that western Kansas is famous for.

Each week, King of Bucks brings deer hunters’ dreams to life. This show, produced by Bass Pro Shops, is dedicated to hunting whitetails — not just big deer or nice deer but world-record deer. Viewers will see techniques and tactics used to take some of the biggest whitetails ever and relive the excitement of the hunt as told from the hunter’s point of view.
