She loves hunting and fishing, all types of both pursuits, but especially archery hunting, bird hunting and fly fishing. She hiked the Appalachian Trail in the company of two beloved shepherd-mix dogs, Kliban and Maude, now deceased. Her favorite vacation would include sleeping late, hunting birds with dogs in the morning and deer with a bow in the afternoon.
She is a judge for AKC hunt tests and have finished dogs of six different breeds to the master hunter level. I’m a columnist (Purely Dogs) for the Ruffed Grouse Society magazine.
