This week’s Bass Pro Shops Outdoor World Radio Show will feature exclusive interviews with young hunters Jakob Kemp and Ed Williams, along with a look inside the NASP provided by professionals Roy A. Grimes and Dr. Tommy Floyd.
Join host Rob Keck on Saturday, January 9, 2016 at 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. ET on RURAL SiriusXM Channel 147 to gain insight into the expansive benefits hunting, shooting, and archery can offer our nation’s youth.
Two young hunters will kick off the show. Jakob Kempt and Ed Williams are personal friends of host Rob Keck and up-and-coming hunters in their own right. Still in high school, these young men will talk about the hunt and the rush that keeps them in the field all season long.
The second half of the show will feature two all-stars from The National Archery in the Schools Program (NASP), Roy A. Grimes founder and CEO/President of NASP will join Dr. Tommy Floyd, NASP VP / General Manager, educator and NASP board member.
Grimes and Floyd will discuss NASP's upcoming 15th anniversary and how the NASP movement has caught on both nationally and internationally. Learn about the NASP program’s impact on a student’s self-esteem, motivation, and school performance.
