Plot Management: Turning Your Fields

Jake Utsey of Water Valley Lodge in the Alabama Black Belt manages 300+ acres with over 200 food plots. The third step in establishing good food plot habitat that produces a good herd of wild game is turning the soil after spraying and bushhogging. In this video Sam Hall of Global Outfitters Outdoor University interviews Jake as he shows us how he plows with disc or a no-till drill to turn the soil in preparation for planting. Follow this series of videos with Jake and compare them to the other videos we offer by J. Wayne Fears, as he manages his annual food plot with his ATV.
