Bass Pro Shops Go Outdoors event and sale, which will be held May 16-26, offers free how-to seminars and gifts, hot buys, and a chance to win an Ultimate Outdoors Giveaway.

You’ll be treated to the following free workshops during the weekend of May 17-18:
• Pack, Pitch, Play: A basic guide to camping and survival.
• Wear it Right: 5 important steps for choosing and properly fitting a life jacket.
• Free cooking demos.
• Priorities of Survival (in cooperation with Bear Grylls and Gerber).
By being one of the first 25 attendees over the age of 18 at the Pack, Pitch and Play and Priorities of Survival seminars, you can score freebies such as insulated tumblers and a nifty survival multi-tool that includes a whistle, compass, flint for fire starting and dry compartment for matches.
The kids even get their special weekend, May 24-25, so they can try their hand at the following free adventure activities (and maybe win some cool prizes while supplies last):
