What does a Bassmaster Elite Series angler do during the offseason? Well, it depends on the individual of course, but in Abu Garcia pro Brandon Card's case, he vacations with his wife, and also spends some time fishing his local waters.

In addition, Card also checks his personal resolve, and steps into the furious onslaught that is Three Questions from Pros4- 1Source. Yep, this Tennessee-bass pro is a brave soul. Let's see if he survived.

DL - What is your most important goal as a professional angler?

BC - I want to get an Elite Series win. Sure, qualifying for the Bassmaster Classic is always there as well, but getting a win would do something to help solidify me as a pro for several years, and also give me plenty of confidence moving a 11257 1 300-250

forward.

I've been close before, and I know that a win would make a huge difference. My approach may have cost me in Angler of the Year points and qualifying for the Classic. I always go for the win. Winning changes a lot.

DL - If you were a professional musician, what instrument would you play?

BC - Drums. I am probably the least musically inclined person out there, but I've always liked the drums. I never took them up in school. My brother did, and I would play around with them. I always wanted to play. I would've grew my hair long and rocked out.

Now I drum on my truck console or my steering wheel while I'm driving.

DL - What is a perfect vacation destination for you?

BC - My wife and I just came back from a pretty amazing trip to Maui and Kauai. It was pretty perfect.

As far as a place that I've always wanted to go, but don't know if it is actually cool, is New Zealand. It looks amazing when you see it on TV and in the movies. The epic beauty, low population. It looks perfect.
