Formed in 2009, the Quail and Upland Wildlife Federation, Inc™ (QUWF), based in Buffalo, Missouri, a rural community whose agricultural roots and moral compass reflect the core of QUWF, was organized to better focus efforts, donated dollars and partnerships on immediate and positive habitat projects to “Turn-The- Dirt“©™ for upland wildlife."

QUWF, www.quwf.net,  is the only not for profit national multi-specie upland game conservation organization in the country. The QUWF was formed to benefit all upland wildlife when performing on the ground habitat, it incorporates professional strategic planning changes in habitat work to benefit many species with the same habitat dollars on private and public lands.

QUWF chapters and landowners are working on; deer, quail (all species), dove, turkey, wood cock, ruff grouse, rabbit, mule deer, elk, pheasant, and mountain goat.
