Fall turkeys are grouped up. Young of the year, hens and jakes run together, while older gobblers form bachelor groups. The first group is much easier to call than gobblers. Scattering a group and calling them back is as fun as it gets in the fall. They are very vocal. for a lot of fun, use one of the six-in-one duck whistle made by H.S. or Primos. They also prooduce the perfect lee-kees.

Fall turkey hunting in the Missouri Ozarks is a piece of heaven. Few people enjoy the sport anymore.
