bps tkr ascendThis week's Bass Pro Shops Outdoor World radio show will focus on kayaking and camping. The hour-long radio show airs Saturday, June 20, 2015 at 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. Eastern time on RURAL SiriusXM Channel 80.


With the Bass Pro Shops “Family Summer Camp” event on the horizon, this episode will leave families excited to spend time in the great outdoors. Family Summer Camp will be held at most Bass Pro locations June 27 through July 26, 2015.

Joining the show will be Derek Fritz, Plant Manager of the Plastics Division of TRACKER Marine and Jeremy Mutrux, a Camping Merchandiser for Bass Pro Shops.

Fritz will discuss what it takes to build watercraft for the world’s leading and largest boat manufacturer in the world, TRACKER Marine. Fritz, who oversees the design and manufacturing of the TRACKER Marine Ascend brand of kayaks, will talk about the many types made at the TRACKER plant.  He will also give listeners tips for choosing the perfect kayak to meet their needs.

Mutrux will discuss camping gear, including how to select the proper tent and sleeping bag. Jeremy will also share tips on keeping families comfortable while camping in any weather.   From veteran campers to those who have never spent a night under the stars, Mutrux will offer valuable insight for every level of outdoor adventurer.

Show host Rob Keck, Bass Pro Shops' director of conservation, and his guests to provide listeners with the latest information about hunting, fishing and wildlife conservation.
